St. Patrick's Day Fun On Long Island

It’s officially the last weekend to celebrate Irish culture and enjoy the fun St. Patrick’s Day perks (traditional food, drinks, and music). Although you may feel limited to local bars and pubs, there’s  plenty of family-friendly entertainment to relish in as well! So gather your little ones, and head to one of these local holiday events.

Leprechaun’s Rainbow 
Your children will explore the many ways that light bounces, bends, and reflects - revealing all the colors of the rainbow and maybe that lucky pot of gold!
Date & Time: Saturday, March 18th @ 1:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Cost:$4 per person. Children under 3 are free.

St. Patrick’s Day Dinner
Enjoy a traditional Irish feast with your family at the North Fork planetarium. And make sure you’re all dressed in your best ‘alien green’ clothing!

Patchogue St. Patrick’s Day Parade
Stop by downtown Patchogue and celebrate St. Patrick's Day with pipe bands, floats, twirlers, and more.
Date & Time: Sunday, March 19th @ 12:00 p.m.

Friends of Erin St. Patrick’s Day Parade
End your weekend by heading to the 55th annual St. Patrick’s Day parade in Montauk. It also happens to be the second-largest St. Patrick’s Day parade in New York!
Date & Time: Sunday, March 27th @ 11:30 a.m.
Cost: FREE
Location:The parade runs up Edgemere Road and ends on Main Street in Montauk.
