Playground Safety Tips

At Miss Sue's Nursery School, each classroom exits into a large, completely fenced-in private playground with state-of-the art equipment: Two sets of Swings, Two playgrounds — a wooden Big Toy Playground and a colorful Little Tykes Activity Center with slides, climbing ramps, bridges and tunnels. We have a boat, helicopter, Pirate Play Ship, train and a giant Sandbox. Below are some safety tips to keep in mind when playing on the playground.
  • There is absolutely no pushing, shoving, or roughhousing on the playground.
  • Take off any loose items that could potentially get caught on playground equipment.
  • To avoid crowding on the playground, remind children to take turns.
  • Make sure that the playground is free of any harmful debris.
Our outdoor facilities were specifically designed to foster muscular coordination and independence. Children are always supervised by multiple teachers when playing on the playground. If you want your child to attend a nursery school that encourages physical activity, choose Miss Sue's! Call 516-938-0894 today to inquire about enrollment.
