How To Adapt To A New Nursery School

A move can be hard for a young child. This is especially true when a child has to switch to a new nursery school. Below are some tips to help you ease the transition.

Play Nursery School
It is no secret that children love to play make believe. Pretend that you and your child are in the new nursery school! Take turns acting out the student and teacher roles.

Visit The School
We invite you to visit our school and see our program in action. This will help your child know what to expect. That way, they won't feel as anxious on the first day.

Practice Your Goodbye Ritual
Dropping a child off on their first day at a new nursery school can be difficult. To make it a little bit easier, practice your goodbye ritual beforehand. Reassure your child that you will see them after school. It can ease their separation anxiety.
