What To Look For In A Nursery School

We understand that choosing a nursery school can be tough. Some parents simply don't know what to look for. Below are some of the things that make Miss Sue's the nursery school for your child.

Great Teachers
The best and most qualified teachers at a nursery can make all the difference in a child's life. Our teachers are certified and trained in Early Childhood education and must serve a one year apprenticeship as an assistant prior to becoming a Head-Teacher at Miss Sue’s. There are four trained teachers in each classroom. In addition, all staff members are certified in CPR and First Aid. You can rest assured that your child will be safe at Miss Sue's.

Innovative Directors
Our Owner-Director and our Educational Director each have over 25 years experience in the field and hold Masters Degrees in Early Childhood Education. Best of all, our directors are dedicated to constantly improving Miss Sue's.

State-Of-The-Art
Facilities
Miss Sue's is conveniently located in the center of Long Island, in the town of Plainview. Our indoor classrooms are spacious and sunny. Each classroom comes fully equipped with computers, a Smart Board, a library of books and music, games, and arts & crafts materials. Our outdoor facilities were designed to foster muscular coordination. We have two state-of-the-art playgrounds, two swing sets, and much more!

Miss Sue's focuses on the individual needs of each and every child. We concentrate on development of the whole child - socially, emotionally, physically and educationally. A multi-sensory approach to learning is provided through play, art, music and physical activities. Personal guidance is given to each child by a team of four teachers in each classroom. If you are interesting in enrolling your child, please call us for an appointment or with any questions (24 hours/7 days a week) at 516-938-0894.
