Safety Tips for Children In Nursery School

As the old saying goes, safety first! At Miss Sue's, we strive to provide a safe and fun environment. When your child attends our facility, you can rest assured that they are in good hands. Below are some tips to keep children safe at nursery school.
  • Keep the floor free of liquids, toys and other trip hazards.
  • Walk, do not run. Running can lead to a slip and fall accident.
  • Children should be particularly careful when playing in our outdoor facility.
  • If a child notices a safety hazard, they should notify a teacher immediately.
Safety Precautions at Miss Sue's
There are four trained teachers in each classroom. Staff members are certified in CPR and First Aid. We keep a sophisticated First Aid kit and a defibrillator on premises. If an injury is serious and needs immediate medical attention, doctors are always on call and we are located within one mile of North Shore University Hospital at Plainview.

Miss Sue's is a safe environment. If you are interested in enrolling your child in Miss Sue's, please call 516-938-0894. We invite you to visit our school and see our program in action.
