"When should my child start nursery school?" It is a question we hear a lot at Miss Sue's. We are here to set the record straight.
Talk To Your Child
There is no right or wrong time to send your child to nursery school. Some parents enroll their child in nursery school as soon as possible. However, sending your child to nursery school when they are not ready could hinder their overall development. To prevent this from happening, simply talk to your child about the prospect of nursery school.
Assess their Overall Development
Some children are simply more mature than others. Conversely, some children are late bloomers and take time to develop socially, emotionally and intellectually. It is up to the parents to decide whether or not the child is ready for the demands of nursery school.
At Miss Sue's Nursery School, our prime educational goal is the development of the whole child - socially, emotionally, physically and educationally. When you child is ready, enroll them in Miss Sue's Nursery School! Please call us for an appointment or with any questions (24 hours/7 days a week) at 516-938-0894. Fax us at 516-938-3184. We invite you to visit our school and see our program in action.
