Prepare Your Child For Nursery School

Can you believe that summer is coming to a close? We can't either! Schools across the country are preparing for the upcoming school year. If your child is attending nursery school for the very first time this year, it is completely normal for them to have jitters. Below are some tips on how to prepare for nursery school.

Read Nursery School Books
Is your child a bookworm? If so, read a few books that explain what nursery school is like. It will give them an idea of what to expect on their first day. They will quickly learn that nursery school is a safe place where children learn and have fun.

Play Pretend
Pretend you and your child are both in nursery school! After all, children have fun playing make believe. It is important that you and your child take turns acting out the student and teacher roles. If your child has a tough time saying goodbye to you, also act out dropping them off at nursery school.
