Keep Your Child Learning this Summer

Some children are under the impression that school is the only place they will learn new things. Quite the contrary! Children can learn so much from exploring the world around them. Below are some tips that will help your child learn new things all summer long.

Encourage Your Child To Write
Did you go on a fun vacation this summer? Did you visit family in another part of the country? Whatever your child did this summer, encourage them to write about it! If your child takes to writing, encourage them to keep a journal.

Go To The Museum
A lot of children enjoy going to the museum. Little do they know that it is also a great opportunity to learn new things!

Read Before Bed
Even though school is not in session, your child should still curl up with a good book. Reading a bedtime story with your little one can strengthen your relationship and prepare them for a lifetime of academic excellence.

We hope that the tips above help your child learn new things this summer. Once the summer is over, your child may be eligible for nursery school. Looking for a superior nursery school on Long Island? If so, choose Miss Sue's Nursery School! Don't wait until the summer is over to enroll. Call 516-938-0894 today to inquire about enrollment.
